On 21 June 2022, Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) to host the office of Sport Coaching Europe, the European continental office of the ICCE.
The MoU was signed by MCAST Principal Professor James Calleja and ICCE General Secretary Dr. Ladislav Petrovic. This important agreement supports the services of each organisation and sport coaching communities both locally, in Europe and internationally. Professor Calleja met ICCE president John Bales on Monday 17th April to review the first period of the cooperation and to discuss future common projects and activities.
