Stand out! Gain ICCE endorsement for your Sport Coaching degree

The International Coaching Degree Standards (ICDS), originally published in 2016 and reviewed in 2023, were ICCE’s response to the need to support higher education institutions (HEIs) delivering sport coaching degrees. The standards were very positively received and have become a robust global reference point. 

As a further tool to support HEIs, ICCE developed an assessment and endorsement process to recognise degrees operating at a mature level in relation to the ICDS. Institutions such as La Trobe University (AUS), Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences (FIN), and Lithuania Sport University (LIT) have achieved endorsement. 

The higher education market has become highly competitive and contested. Students and prospective staff consider multiple options before deciding which institution to join. The ICCE’s degree endorsement process provides a great opportunity to finetune and enhance your degree offering to make your course more competitive in a crowded marketplace.
