Privacy and cookie policy

Updated 5 October 2026

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors; this policy  sets out how we will treat your personal information.

Our website uses cookies and related technologies. Read the cookie notice for more information and available consent controls.

What information do we collect?

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

  • information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views, website navigation and details);
  • information you provide through our contact form, such as your name, email address, organisation, country or region, enquiry category and message;
  • your email address and subscription information when you sign up for the ICCE newsletter;
  • information that you choose to include in your correspondence with us.

Before you disclose to us the personal information of another person, you must obtain that person’s consent to both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.

Newsletter subscriptions

When you subscribe, we use your email address to send ICCE news, events and initiatives with your consent. We use Mailchimp to manage subscriptions and deliver these emails.

Our website signup form asks for your email address. Mailchimp sends a confirmation email, and you complete your subscription by following its confirmation link. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our newsletter emails or by contacting info@icce.ws. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Your subscription information is transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Read Mailchimp’s privacy information for details of its practices.

Cookies and website services

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They can support website functions, remember preferences and help measure website use. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.

The website uses Google Analytics for website statistics and Google services including Maps and reCAPTCHA. See Google’s privacy policy for information about these services.

See our cookie notice for the website’s cookie information and available consent settings. You can also review or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions.

We may disclose your personal information to our employees, officers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.

In addition, we may disclose your personal information:

International data transfers

Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Mailchimp processes newsletter information in the United States and other locations used by its service providers. Its Data Processing Addendum describes its processing terms and international transfer safeguards. Contact us if you would like more information about the handling of your data.

In addition, personal information that you submit for publication on the website will be published on the internet and may be available, via the internet, around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.

Security of your personal information

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

The website and newsletter signup form use HTTPS to encrypt information in transit.

You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

You are responsible for keeping your password and other login details confidential. We will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the website).
