A very successful first meeting of the ICCE Emerging Nations Working Group took place on 29th September, co-chaired by Desiree Vardhan (South Africa) and Aaron Alsop (Solomon Islands).
The vision of this group is to lead, develop and provide guidelines to emerging sport coaching countries globally.
The mission of the group is to advocate, develop and support a sustainable coaching system for sports coaching in emerging countries.
Confirmation on the commitment was evident from all members of the group, representing Solomon Islands, Australia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mozambique, Cape Verde, France and Paraguay. Findings of the Working Group will be presented at the ICCE Global Coach Conference 2021 in Lisbon next June.
