The Carnegie School of Sport at Leeds Beckett University is proud to announce the formal launch of the Research Centre for Sport Coaching and the 3rd Pat Duffy Coaching Excellence Conference.
To celebrate the launch, the Centre will be hosting an online event exploring: Sport coaching 2020-2030.
Invited speakers with insights into policy, practice, and research will offer their thoughts on the characteristics and conditions of sport coaching just after the turn of the decade (2020), and where the vocational/occupational area might go over the next decade (2030).
The speakers will talk to the Centre’s main research themes:
- Effective and ethical sport coaching practice
- Coach learning, development, and education
- Coaching policy and systems
- Applied sports science for coaches.
