Each year Leeds Beckett University – host of the ICCE Global Coaching Office – supports an institution wide academic promotions round.  

This process aims to support the effective progression of staff to Professor or Reader recognising and rewarding outstanding contributions to research, learning and teaching, and innovation and enterprise.  

The university are therefore proud to confirm the successful promotion of Dr Sergio Lara-Bercial (ICCE Manager of Strategy and Development) and Dr Julian North (ICCE Research Committee Chair) to Professors in the areas of sport coaching.  ICCE are delighted with this news, and look forward to continuing our work with both colleagues in the future.
