Applied Coaching Research Conference 2019

Last chance to get your ticket to UK Coaching’s 2nd Applied Coaching Research Conference taking place at Derby County Football Club on Tuesday 19 February.

Tony Strudwick, Head of Performance at the Football Association of Wales, will be delivering the morning keynote session and delegates will be treated to a 30-minute panel discussion on coach well-being in the afternoon.

Sitting on the panel will be Dr Pippa Grange – a sports psychologist who has worked with athletes and leaders in elite sport across the world for over 18 years – and Melanie Timberlake – UK Coaching’s Disability Coach of the Year, who specialises in coaching participants with disabilities and mental health difficulties, and has first-hand experience of how coaching turns lives around.

You can also expect to enjoy workshops, poster presentations and networking opportunities tying to the event’s key themes of innovative coaching practice, coach experience and well-being and contemporary learning solutions. Sessions including chair yoga and mindfulness meditation are also on offer after lunch as part of our ‘time for you’ sessions, extending the well-being theme to our delegates.

Grab your ticket before it’s too late!
