Miguel Crespo
Miguel Crespo is the Head of the Participation and Education Area within the Development Department of World Tennis (ITF). Miguel leads tennis global education, research, publications and participation projects worldwide. He oversees the projects, resources, conferences, courses and programmes on these areas.
Miguel holds PhDs in Psychology, Law, and Business Administration and Management. He is also a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Sports Management at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In addition, he has been accredited as a Tenured University Professor by ANECA.
Previously, Miguel served as Deputy Director of the Education Department at the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) and Technical Director of the Tennis Federation of the Valencian Community (FTCV). He was also an Associate Professor at Miguel Hernández University of Elche and at the Catholic University of Valencia (Spain).
Miguel is a regular contributor of books and scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on topics related to teaching, coaching, development, leadership, and sports management in general, with a particular focus on tennis.  He is the Treasurer for the International Council for Coaching Excellence.
