A global movement for children’s coaches
ICOACHKIDS is a global movement powered by the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE). It supports coaches and organisations in creating positive, safe and inclusive sport experiences for children and young people.
Launched in 2016 as an Erasmus+ project, ICOACHKIDS became a global movement within the ICCE in 2020.
Three areas of focus
- Developing people: supporting the training and development of coaches of children and young people.
- Driving global change: working with partners to advance policies and coaching practices that put children first.
- Evidencing impact: promoting research and evidence to improve youth sport.
Free learning and practical resources
The ICOACHKIDS platform offers online courses, articles, videos and practical coaching tools. Coaches, parents, clubs and sport organisations can explore resources on child-centred coaching, inclusion, safeguarding and positive learning environments.
