On 24th June, representatives from the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) and Sport Coaching Europe met with members of the EU Sport Commissioner’s team to discuss ongoing and future collaborations.

ICCE was represented by General Secretary Ladislav Petrovic, Chair of the ICCE Ethics Committee Lorraine Lafrenière, and Vice President for Strategy and Development Sergio Lara-Bercial. They presented the organisation’s mission, activities, and strategic goals to Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport; Giorgio Guazzugli, Acting Head of the Sport Unit; and Agata Dziarnowska, Member of the Cabinet of the Commissioner.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for Commissioner Micallef to outline his current priorities and discuss how ICCE and Sport Coaching Europe can support the EU’s future agenda in sport policy and development.
