Third in-person meeting of the AntiDop project held in Belgrade

The third in-person meeting of the AntiDop project took place last week in Belgrade, Serbia, bringing together project partners to review progress and plan the next phase of development.

The meeting, which included participation from Sport Coaching Europe and other consortium partners, focused on finalising the project’s educational materials and preparing for the pilot testing and evaluation of the AntiDop learning platform. Significant progress was made towards ensuring that the resources are ready for implementation in real-world sport contexts.

The AntiDop project is an Erasmus+ Sport initiative aimed at equipping Athlete Support Personnel—including coaches, trainers, nutritionists, managers, and parents—with the knowledge, tools, and training needed to prevent unintentional doping violations and to support informed decision-making around the use of supplements and medications in sport.

Alongside the working sessions, partners also had the opportunity to engage with the local sporting and cultural environment in Belgrade. The consortium expressed its appreciation to the Sports Medicine Association of Serbia (SMAS) for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation of the meeting.

As the project moves into its next phase, partners will focus on piloting the learning platform and evaluating its impact across different stakeholder groups in European sport.

The AntiDop project continues to contribute to strengthening anti-doping education and awareness across the sport coaching and athlete support community.
