Ethics in Coaching

Ethics in Coaching

The ICCE believes that international collaboration and exchange can accelerate positive change in the realm of coaching development. One area where we would like to have a positive impact is ethics in coaching. The idea is to collect and share information about different solutions and materials on this topic.

The reason for gathering Codes of Conduct and Ethic from around the world was to compare them to each other and to find similarities and differences in the way the codes were written. The codes were also used to create the table presented below which can be used as a tool for clubs, associations and federations to put their very own code together.

ICCE wishes to express our appreciation to Dr. Frauke Kubischta (frauke.kubischta@myy.haaga-helia.fi) who completed this study. This Code of Conduct project is part of her coaching studies at the HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences in Vierumäki, Finland. Also, appreciations go to our Board member Kirsi Hämäläinen for her coordination work in this project.
