ICCE involvement in new EU projects
Two successful EU project proposals which were submitted under Erasmus+ Sport will commence in the new year. The ICCE are confirmed as partners in the projects, as follows: SCORE, led by the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation, promoting gender equality in coaching; and SPEACH (Sport Physical Education And Coaching in Health), led by Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen

Coach Development – Portugal and Cape Verde
In the context of collaborative work between Portugal and Cape Verde, a seminar for coach developers took place on 17th and 18th August at Ribeira Grande (Santo Antão Island/Cape Verde). 29 coaches from various sports were involved in the seminar, which informed participants on the ICCE, its activities and strategic objectives. Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes Expert Group
After meetings in Vienna, Budapest and Leeds, the fourth meeting of the Pro Safe Sport for Young Athletes Expert Group of the Council of Europe has taken place in Berlin this week. Canadian Disability Policy Alliance
ICCE is delighted to announce the launch of the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance's latest project, which aims to foster community participation within Canadians with disabilities between 2014 and 2022. This project has been made possible thanks to a Partnership Grant led by McMaster University which has brought together a large number of organisations for this cause including ICCE. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our great friend and colleague Pat Duffy who passed away on Sunday morning after a long illness.
