The ADVANCE project is moving forward
After the anticipated first meeting that took place in February early this year, which saw the ADVANCE project being set in motion after a period of preparation, the partners met for a second time to discuss and evaluate the progress of the project. Those partners were the University of Physical Education and Sports of Bucharest (Universitatea Națională de Educație Fizica și Sport din Bucaresti), the International Council for Coaching Excellence, the Badminton Nederland, the University of Cyprus Sports Center, the Badminton Scotland and the Deutscher Badminton-Verband.
During the meeting, the partners dealt with two main issues: the Training Needs Analysis, which is the first part of the ADVANCE project, and the development of a European Badminton Coaching Framework. Therefore, the meeting was also used to agree on and finalize the working plan for the second part of the project – the European Badminton Coaching Framework.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was conducted as a hybrid meeting and it was hosted by the University of Physical Education and Sports of Bucharest in Bucharest, Romania.
