The SCORE project group met in Brussels on 19 May 2015. The meeting focused on agreeing the content of the SCORE toolkit ‘Awareness Pack’, and a draft Education for Mentors programme.
The meeting started with an update on the EU activities in the field of gender equality and sport by Paola Ottonello from the Sport policy and programme Unit, European Commission.
The toolkit ‘Awareness Pack’, was discussed in the meeting, and it was decided that it should contain some facts about the current situation regarding the numbers of female coaches in project partner countries and information on the Education for Mentors programme.
Satu Kaski, Finnish Coaches Association, presented the draft programme of the Education for Mentors, which will facilitate the creation of mentoring systems in the partner organisations involved in the Education.
The project group also discussed the evaluation of the SCORE project. There will be a mid-term evaluation in the end of 2015 focusing on the project management and arrangements, and a final evaluation where the focus will be in assessing the impact of the Project.
During the summer the materials will be developed and in the next SCORE partner meeting in October those will be approved to start the implementation phase of the project.
