ICCE meet with Haaga-Helia University to discuss Coaching Degree Standards

ICCE President John Bales and General Secretary Ladislav Petrovic recently met with a Haaga-Helia university delegation in Finland to discuss Coaching Degree Standards.

The meeting was arranged by ICCE vice president Kirsi Hämäläinen who is also a Principal lecturer and Expert in Coach development at Haaga-Helia.  In attendance were Teppo Rantala, Head of Campus & Director of Sport Coaching and Management Programme; Pekka Clewer, Senior lecturer of sports coaching (ICCE-NSSU CD academy graduate); and Maiju Kokkonen, Senior lecturer/Coach developer (ICCE-NSSU CD academy graduate).

Parties discussed future cooperation in coaching degree standards and joint efforts in assisting developing countries in coach development.  Both parties look forward to continued work together towards this important work.
