Project EDU:PACT introduces online interactive conference ‘Educate and Integrate?! Intercultural Education in Physical Education and Sport Coaching’ which is taking place on 2 March, 9:30-12:00 (CET).
Research indicates that many physical education teachers and coaches have not received formal training on working with diverse groups, and lack professional competences in the area of intercultural education. So what are the current challenges for PE teachers and coaches when they are teaching culturally, ethnically and linguistically heterogeneous classes of pupils or athletes? What are the future perspectives of intercultural education in the setting of school and sports clubs?
Join this interactive online conference, that will focus on intercultural education in school sport and sports club environments, and will provide an overview of the results and tools developed in the Erasmus+ project EDU:PACT.
Target groups: government representatives and policy makers, persons responsible for educational programs and coaching education, audience from universities, universities of applied sciences and umbrella organizations. Physical education teachers, coaches and experts working in the field of intercultural education.
Registration through the EDU:PACT website is necessary, the number of participants is limited. Participation is free of charge. You will receive the link to the livestream after registration. Registration deadline is 26th of February 2021.
