Are you a coach or technical leader looking for the pinnacle of high performance sport education while increasing your academic credentials?
The University of British Columbia’s Masters of High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership will be starting its eighth cohort this summer (June 2022). Students can also achieve the NCCP Advanced Coaching Diploma credit while earning their UBC Masters degree.
Targeting mature professionals who are working as full time coaches or technical leaders in their sport’s podium pathway, the UBC program includes:
- A world class high performance curriculum taught by active practitioners in international sport science and coaching.
- Primarily on-line delivery, with a one-week face-to-face residency at UBC second week of June.
- Flexible admission is available to coaches or technical Leaders who may lack formal post-secondary education but have prior learning experience and proven background at the provincial, national or international levels of sport.
Presently, there are 52 active graduate students in the High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership program; 23 in the Certificate and 29 in the Masters. Since its launch in 2015, 83 have graduated from the Certificate and 31 have graduated from the Masters.
