1st iCoachKids Conference – For the Kids and With the Kids

The first Conference of the iCoachKids project will take place on 3rd November 2017 in Budapest, Hungary. The event will aim to gather feedback from stakeholders informing the development of a European Coaching Children Curriculum.

The ICCE and Leeds Beckett University’s Sergio Lara-Bercial, project leader for iCoachKids, said of the event:

‘We are very excited about the 1st iCK Conference in Budapest. This is our first chance to share with the wider coaching children community all that has happened in the first year of the programme and take their feedback. We will also be talking about what will happen over the next two years, especially the building of our three Massive Open Online Courses’.

The line-up of speakers includes Kris Van der Haegen, Director of Coach Education, Royal Belgian Football Association; Nicolette van Veldhoven, Windsheim University, Netherlands; and Dr. Dénes Kemény, Vice President of the Hungarian Coaching Assocation, and President of the Hungarian Water Polo Federation.

More information on the project can be found here, while the conference agenda can be found here.

Participation is free, and a limited number of international participants might benefit from free one night accommodation. Please contact Ladislav Petrovic on L.Petrovic@icce.ws
